Kettle How

Kettle Howe is a small craglet about 5 minutes walk from the parking layby near the Farndale turnoff on Blakey Ridge. A bouldering/highball venue (up to 6-7m) which is pleasantly set, sheltered and can be easily combined with 'Railway Buttress' & 'Middle Ridge Crag'.

1. Midge Hell 6m E2 5c *
Weave delightfully up the arete from right to left, finishing on the right.
Dave Warburton, Sam Marks (Ground up) 5/9/13

2. Sledge Shoe Bents 6m E3 6a *
The right side throughout, with a hard move at half height and tricky finish.
Dave Warburton, Sam Marks (flash) 5/9/13

3. Rite of Passage 7m E4 6b **
Direct up the scooped wall containing flakes. Try a sequence, then think again.
Dave Warburton, Matthew Ferrier (Flash) 9/9/13
